WE NEED SOME GOOD GAMES...ONE MORE GAIN

By Rahk Hamilton     Man I miss goodass games. I still play a lot of old games, well relatively old. I love the Jak and Daxter series, they're still some of my favorite games. That was on playstation 2, but on playstation 3 it had to be the Arkham games. I love a game with a good story, with characters leveling up and developing stories filled with plot twists and actually stakes in how things evolve.     Games today all seem to look good and all, but their replay value is very very low. Its like the characters are a ranging span of archetypes that just get in where they fit in. Where batman sitting on top of gargoyles, watching crooks in the dark is dope for batman, and even to a degree spider-man, its not good for every game to come up with their own version of night vision to try recreate the same feelings.      Jak 2 (the best of the series) has you being a lost boy in the future, being kidnapped and mutated into a gun blasting, flying car driving ...

BLACK PEOPLE WILL BE FINE IN THE TRUMP (ERA) ERROR

  by Rahk Hamilton     With the recent election still f**king a lot of people's heads up, the question that we as black people need to ask ourselves is what does it mean for us. I specifically say us, as black people, and not as people of color, because if it's one thing that we learned in this most recent campaign as well as in the time leading up to it, is that the whole notion of a coalition has been a silly joke, and the joke was on us. From the Asian community, working to strike down affirmative action, using the notion of taking something away from black people and getting it for themselves, all the way to the fact that George Floyds death managed to not get black people a hate crime law, but managed to get the Asian community one.     Look at the fact that latino people, specifically dominicans and cubans, have always had a the anti-black spice baked into all their homemade bread, so much so that the black people in that community either totally deny thei...
